When you invest through WisdomTree Prime, you might see two different tickers:
- Fund Ticker (e.g., CRDYX): This is the official ticker used for the registered mutual fund, just like you’d see in a brokerage account or fund website.
- Token Ticker (e.g., CRDT): This is the ticker used for the digital representation of fund shares (i.e., tokenized shares”) that lives on a blockchain. It’s what shows up in your digital wallet or blockchain explorer.
This naming setup helps:
- Keep things clear between traditional and digital formats.
- Make the token work easily across wallets, apps, and DeFi tools.
- Align with how digital assets (like USDC or BTC) are displayed.
Don’t worry — each represents a way to record ownership in the fund, with the traditional record serving as the official record. Both the traditional and blockchain records are reconciled daily.
